As President, I welcome you to our official website, a resource that reflects our values ​​and essence. In a constantly changing world, we are committed to offering an accessible and exceptional learning environment. Our mission is to train leaders with Christian values ​​that promote social transformation.

Revelation University, Inc. is a non-profit Christian educational institution that was born out of Revelation 3:20 Missionary Ministry and Biblical Teachings Inc., founded in 2000 by Dr. Narciso Montas.

​​Since 2006, it has offered Bible study programs to train pastors and leaders committed to evangelism and education. In 2012, it obtained approval from the Florida Department of Education to operate as a religious institution and offer courses in Theology, Biblical Studies, and Christian Counseling.

In 2015, it changed its name to Revelation University Inc. to open itself to the diversity of cultures and beliefs. Revelation University Inc. is a university that seeks to make known the biblical principles and the meaning of personal existence through a quality education with Christian values.

Revelation University is authorized as a religious institution by the United States Department of Education.

 

Religious institutions that meet the requirements set forth in Section 1005.06(1)(f) of the Florida Statutes and Rule 6E-5.001 of the Florida Administrative Code are not under the jurisdiction or purview of the Commission on Independent Education and are not required to obtain a license.

Revelation University is accredited by the Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges & Universities (ASIC), an independent organization that evaluates the quality of higher education at an international level.

 

ASIC aims to provide reliable and objective information to students and the education sector, through an accreditation system based on clear and well-defined criteria. By being accredited by ASIC, Revelation University demonstrates that it is a high-quality institution, with adequate resources, student support and professional ethics. Certifications

Our Bachelor of Theology and Biblical Studies program has quality certification from the Association for Hispanic Theological Education (AETH), an entity recognized by the Association of Theological Schools (ATS), which guarantees compliance with the basic criteria for the development and operation of academic programs. The AETH certification has two objectives:

  • The first is to ensure that qualified Bible colleges operate according to levels of institutional and educational quality.

  • The second objective of this certification is the academic and organizational advancement of institutions and their educational programs.

This certification, granted on March 1, 2023, is the result of our commitment to providing excellent theological education that positively transforms the lives of individuals, churches, and communities. AETH is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and improvement of Hispanic theological education.

Academic Agreements

These are the Institutions that accept credits from our university:

Grace Christian University: Founded in 1939, this university has a mission to train courageous ambassadors of Christ who will positively impact the world. Students who have completed the Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Theology and Biblical Studies at Revelation University will be able to continue their studies at Grace, transferring 60 credits from their degree. In this way, Revelation University candidates will have the opportunity to train in an accredited and quality academic community. They will be able to choose from the following Bachelor's degrees: Business, Leadership and Ministry, Psychology, and Human Services. These will provide them with the necessary skills to better serve their society and the world of work. This agreement was established in August 2023 and is the result of a strategic collaboration between the two universities.

Western Theological Seminary: The recent agreement between Western Theological Seminary and Revelation University represents a significant advancement in inter-institutional academic collaboration. Through this partnership, Revelation University students will have the opportunity to advance their theological education and apply up to 12 credits from their previous Bachelor of Theology and Biblical Studies studies toward a Master of Christian Studies degree at Western Theological Seminary. This agreement not only reflects the commitment of both institutions to higher education, but also facilitates a more accessible and efficient path for those seeking to deepen their understanding and practice of the Christian faith. Western Theological Seminary is accredited by ATS, so students can be assured of the quality and recognition of their advanced education.

ECHAM Theological University: is an institution committed to contextual theological education for the Hispanic church, with the goal of training its leaders for ministry and service to the community. ECHAM offers various programs that include the study of the Holy Scriptures and ministerial practice. Through this agreement, REVELATION students will be able to access these programs to enrich their theological training. Likewise, ECHAM students will be able to take advantage of the programs offered by Revelation University according to their interests. Likewise, students who graduate from Revelation University with a Bachelor's degree, covered by the ECHAM agreement with Western Theological Seminary, will be able to pursue postgraduate studies for a Master of Arts and Doctorate in Ministry at WTS.

International Reciprocity Board Therapeutic Professional Counselors, IRBO:

Founded in 2004, IRBO adopted international standards developed by IC&RC to test a candidate's competency in Screening, Assessment and Engagement, Counseling, Treatment Planning, Collaboration and Referral, and Professional Ethics. It provides certification for qualified counselors in the field of counseling. about alcohol and drugs.

Chaplains of the International Federal Police, Inc: Although the word "chaplain" does not appear in the Bible, the responsibilities associated with it are indeed found in the Scriptures. The most important role of a chaplain is to provide religious services, spiritual guidance, and counseling to those in need. For instance, a chaplain working in a hospital or palliative care center offers spiritual counseling and guidance to patients, their families, and even the hospital staff. Traditionally, a chaplain is a clergy member or lay representative of a religious tradition affiliated with a secular institution such as a hospital, prison, military unit, school, union, company, police department, fire department, university, or private institution. They often have a designated chapel or space for religious services.

Integrity Policy

The Institution possesses and demonstrates attributes such as commitment to Christian principles and values, academic freedom, intellectual freedom, freedom of expression, and respect for intellectual property rights; promotes a climate of respect for students, faculty, and staff; has a policy for handling complaints; encourages its community to avoid conflicts; has fair human resource management practices; makes truthful and honest announcements to the public; promotes accessibility and reasonable costs; and complies with all applicable federal regulations. It reports any changes in its mission, program, and operations in a timely manner and has clearly established standards.

 

Academic Records

The Board of Directors of Revelation University has adopted that all University records will be kept for a minimum of 5 years in a confidential manner. Adhering to the Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) which grants students certain rights to their records, until recently our academic records were kept manually, only physically, but following one of the pillars of our strategic plan.
