DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE
OF THE BACHERLOR
This program trains the student in the theoretical and practical aspects of counseling, from a biblical and Christian perspective. The student will learn to apply the principles of the word of God to guide and help people who face personal, family and social difficulties, promoting their comprehensive well-being and spiritual growth. The Christian counselor will be able to intervene in situations of crisis and violence that affect families, offering spiritual and therapeutic resources. Likewise, the student will develop skills to listen, understand and communicate with people who need support and spiritual guidance.

CRITERIA
The academic period lasts 4 quarters. Academic credits (credit units, CU) are defined as follows: One academic credit represents 48 hours of study comprising 12 hours face to face /online instruction with a professor and 36 hours of self study to include homework and or research.

FOR GRADUATION
Only students who have met all the requirements of the program are entitled to participate in the graduation ceremony.

The student must pay in advance the corresponding cost of graduation. The cost is non-refundable. This fee includes: the ceremony venue, diploma, cap and gown.

Hybrid - Virtual and face to face as per curriculum.

The objective of this course is to train the student for counseling ministries in the Church and the community, providing them with theoretical and practical tools to practice effective and biblical counseling.
